H2O Well Service was started in 1976. The company presently employs 45 full time employees. H2O has been built on quality, excellence and professionalism. Our business is a service oriented operation. A top priority is excellence in customer service. We take pride in the fact that we provide a very high quality product for your investment. We will guarantee all of our workmanship and materials for a minimum of one year. Some of the equipment may have extended warranties from the original manufacture and will be honored by our company.
Meet the Team in Hayden, ID
Tom is president and owner of H2O Well Service Inc. He is a licensed water well driller in Idaho, Washington, Montana and Arizona. Tom has over 40 years of field experience in the construction of domestic water wells, municipal water wells, cathodic protection wells and monitoring wells though a variety of drilling methods which include air rotary, cable tool, mud rotary and reverse circulation. He is certified and experienced in environmental drilling. Hazmat certified since 1984. He served on the first technical advisory board for the state of Washington and was recognized for his participation in the re-writing of the well construction and licensing rules. He has served on both the Idaho Ground Water and Washington Ground Water board of directors and is past president of the Idaho Groundwater Association. In his spare time he volunteers to drill wells in Guatemala for remote villages that do not have clean water through Water For Life.
Jim brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, dealing with projects exceeding 1 billion dollars. He graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage. He is a licensed Electrical General Administrator in Washington and Journeyman 01 Electrician, licensed in Idaho, Washington, and Alaska. Jim oversees H2O's operations and project estimating. His skills and knowledge in plumbing and electrical controls provide H2O the ability to assist customers with large scale projects such as Commercial, Industrial, and Municipal Systems. Jim's past experience includes both on site and field engineering for such companies as British Petroleum and Phillips Petroleum. His regular duties also includes administrating the safety and training program for the construction site.
Vince is H2O's service department Manager and strives to make your service experience a pleasant one from the time we receive your initial call through the completion of your repair. If you need service for your system, Vince has the knowledge and experience.
Larry has been involved in water well project sales since 1997. His 22 plus years’ experience and knowledge of well drilling and pump systems ensures that your water well experience goes as smoothly as possible.
Larry oversees your project from site development, working with the property owner and contractors, through completion of water flowing.
Tad brings over 35 years of experience in the water industry. He is a licensed Journeymen Pump Installer in Washington and Idaho. Tad was the former owner of the local Kinetico Dealership in the greater Spokane area. He has worked on Municipal Water Treatment Systems for Arsenic and Iron mitigation. He has designed and installed many Water Treatment Systems for both Commercial and Residential 'problem' water applications. Tad's regular duties at H2O Well Service are designing water treatment systems to meet his customer's expectations and specific water challenges.
Meet the Team in Sagle, ID
Brian has been in the Water industry for 20 plus years. From Idaho, and Washington to Colorado and Wyoming. He is a licensed driller for the state of Colorado which has some of the countries strictest and most difficult standards, rules and regulations in drilling and well production. He started in the Water industry as a drillers assistant here in North Idaho, then moved into being a well driller. He is well versed in numerous forms of drilling. From Air, Mud, and Reverse Circulation. He is very experienced in the construction and management of domestic and municipal wells. Not long after his start in well drilling he started in the Agriculture world of water in Washington. There Brian began sales and project management for service and design of pivot and pump stations VFD drives and river pump stations all for large farming operations. He has also worked in Colorado and Wyoming states in water and oilfields,has Safeland training and as a private water well contractor for frac water and injection wells. As well Brian has worked extensively in sales and project management for multiple large teams and crews in the Water Well industry in these areas. He has completed sales for IAU (International Ag University) business, consulting and management courses. Brian works year round on his continuing education to be sure that he has all of the most up to date information and training for rules, regulations and standards required to bring clean water to his customers and provide best service with the highest integrity.
Meet the Team in Deer Park, WA
Josh Richardson has spent his entire career working in H2O and has held roles in every key part of H2O’s operation; well drilling, pump installation, pump repair, and machinist. Josh has been the Lead Driller in Hayden, as well as the Maintenance Supervisor for 3 years, from August 2022 and August 2025. Since August 2025, Josh has been the Branch Manager of the Deer Park location, overseeing a team of about 8 individuals performing well drilling and pump repair. Josh has significant technical expertise in the water well industry, more akin to a 20yr+ industry veteran, having grown-up in the H2O business and benefiting from direct contact with his father, he helps give back by volunteering to drill wells in Guatemala for remote villages that do not have clean water, through Water For Life.
