Well Drilling
Residential & Commercial
Our project managers can help with the complete design and installation of your water system. We make every effort to insure that the well placement meets the minimum set back requirements for all state and local agencies to protect your new well from possible contaminates. We strive to provide our customers with an abundant water source that is tested to the highest standards to insure safe drinking water for your household. With over four decades of drilling experience H2O Well Service is your private well specialist.
H2O Well Service has the equipment and expertise to drill production wells up to twenty inches in diameter. Our capabilities include air rotary, mud rotary, and advanced underreaming technology.
Well Rehabilitation & Deepening
If you have a well that needs special attention, be that well deepening or well rehabilitation, H2O Well Service can help. Some wells over time become encrusted with scale or Iron build up that impedes the flow of water into the well. Other wells have experienced diminished flow due to drought or other environmental factors.
Our crews can treat these problems by removing the buildup and treating the well with solutions in an attempt to restore the well to its original production. Drilling the well deeper into another water source can also help with these problems. Let us make your well new again.
Geothermal Wells
Mother Nature stores energy in the ground. Geothermal wells have been used for heating and cooling systems. The systems are designed to use the Earth’s relatively constant subsurface temperature along with a heat exchanger to either add to or remove heat from a dwelling. Geothermal wells have two basic designs; open looped and closed looped systems.
Open Looped
In an open looped system groundwater is pumped from a water well into a heat exchanger located in a surface dwelling. The water drawn from the Earth is then pumped back into the aquifer through a different well, or in some cases the same well. H2O well service can help you tap into that energy source for your heating and cooling needs. We have extensive experience in residential and large commercial projects.
Closed Loop
Closed loop systems require a heat exchanger between the refrigerant loop and the water loop, and pumps in both loops. Closed loop systems have lower efficiency than direct exchange systems.
Monitor & Resource Protection Wells
H2O Well Service has the drilling equipment and expertise to perform specialized well borings intended or used to collect subsurface information or to determine the existence or migration of pollutants within an underground formation. Resource protection wells include monitoring wells, observation wells, piezometers, spill response wells, remediation wells, environmental investigation wells, vapor extraction wells, ground source heat pump boring, grounding wells, and instrumentation wells.
Construction Drilling
H2O Well Service can assist you in your construction drilling projects whether you need bridge piling or elevator shafts, we have the equipment to get the job done. Should your site development project include rock conditions that require detailed identification, stabilization, and/or removal, look to H2O Well Service. No matter what your construction drilling needs; we have the right equipment for the job.
Well Decommissioning
Wells that are no longer needed are an open source for surface contaminates and a safety concern. If you require well decommissioning, H2O Well Service has the equipment and the knowledge to meet all the state requirements.
All well abandonments require the casing to be removed or perforated and grouted from the bottom of the well to the surface, a drill rig is used to pull or perforate the casing then a Tremmie pipe (small pipe usually 1 3/4 or 1 1/2) is lowered to the bottom of the well. Sealing material is pumped in until it reaches the surface at which time the pipe is removed. The top three feet of casing is cut off and a cement cap is installed.
